| ...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario
provincial party members to vote in favour of legislation that gives child molesters, rapists, and murderers more rights than
dog owners.
...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario provincial party members to vote in
favour of legislation that every single reputable expert opposes.
...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario provincial party members to vote in
favour of legislation that prohibits law-abiding families that own unregistered dogs or dog breeds specifically mentioned
in the legislation from visiting their own nation's capital. (Feels good to be Canadian, huh?)
...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario provincial party members to vote in
favour of legislation that prohibits travel to and from Ontario for all owners of dogs that are not registered purebreds and/or
those that could be confused for a 'pit bull' by the inexpert persons charged with enforcing the law; as well as an outright
ban on various kinds of travel to and from Ontario, by the owners of 'pit bulls', American Staffordshire Terriers, and Staffordshire
Bull Terriers.
...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario provincial party members to vote in
favour of legislation that summarily ended the traditional Canadian 'right of passage' of driving from coast to coast, should
the individual have a non-purebred dog and/or a dog that an inexpert enforcement agent might confuse for a 'pit bull', or
one of the breeds specifically mentioned in Bill 132. Now, most dog owners wishing to travel by car, between Manitoba
and Quebec must drive through the United States, in order to avoid risking their dogs' lives.
...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario provincial party members to vote in
favour of legislation that forced dog owners to choose between ethical treatment of their pets (and even their pets' lives!)
and their homes, families, friends, jobs, careers, clients, and so much more. Many dog owners have had no choice but
to move to other provinces. Some are in limbo, while they await the outcome of the Banned Aid Coalition's constitutional
challenge. Many dog owners are choosing not to move to, or visit, Ontario.
...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario provincial party members to vote in
favour of legislation that sparked massive anti-tourism campaigns and travel advisories in several countries, discouraging
travel to Ontario, Canada. Some, not understanding that this was a decision of the liberal party (specifically Ontario),
strongly urged travellers not to visit Canada, whether they're dog owners, or simply in solidarity with the principles of
freedom and/or ethical treatment of animals.
...it was the liberal party that required its Ontario provincial party members to
vote in favour of legislation that mandates unethical treatment of dogs.
